COMMISSION A PIECE OF ART

Commission A Piece of Art

Demystify the Commissioning Process

There is something very satisfying about having an artist create a personalized & unique piece of art for your home or office.

The Process is Easy

The commissioning experience does not have to be either an intimidating or mystical experience. My attempt is to make the commission process as uncomplicated as possible.

Here's How It Works

  1. Initial contact (phone call or in-home consult, if applicable) to discuss the process and hear your vision for your piece.
  2. You express your specific wants/needs (sizes, colors, materials used, subject matter, photos of examples, etc.)
  3. I will explain my needs from you and outline how the process moves forward.
  4. You provide me with any vision elements and any specific wants/needs desires for your piece.
  5. I will provide you with a concept sketch, review your wants/needs, and provide you with a price & anticipated completion proposal (any changes that differ from your original communication need to be addressed @ this point).
  6. Upon acceptance of my proposal, you sign the contract and pay 50% (non-refundable) downpayment to guarantee the project start.
  7. I will provide you with updates on your project and contact you should questions arise.
  8. I will notify you of the project completion and provide you with shipping costs or schedule a delivery date.
  9. Upon receipt of the balance due and shipping fees, I will prepare your package for shipping and promptly forward you tracking information.

I retain the legal rights to use any images of a completed piece in the marketing of my art.

"My wife, Carla, and I volunteer for Shriners Children’s Hospitals. We needed something unique to draw attention at public events, which would create opportunities for conversation. Robbie Mueller did not disappoint. His repurposed and creative touch were exactly what we were looking for!"

"I asked Robbie to make a gift for my husband similar to another piece that he had made. He had never met husband, so he took the time to find a picture of him. The gift took on a whole new meaning when I received it, and the face was a wonderful likeness of my husband! The experience couldn't have been better! Thanks, Robbie!"
